Summary

This study tests whether adding antidepressant medication (fluoxetine or sertraline) to the Friendship Bench talk therapy helps adults with moderate to severe depression more than talk therapy alone. About 296 adults in Zimbabwe will take part. The goal is to see if the combination leads to greater improvement in depression symptoms.
