First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether people with multiple myeloma who have no detectable cancer cells (called minimal residual disease negative) can safely stop their daily maintenance drugs after a stem cell transplant. Researchers will watch 50 participants for one year to see if the cancer stays away. The goal is to reduce side effects and improve quality of life without increasing the risk of relapse.
