First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether fisetin, a natural compound, can improve stem cell function, reduce inflammation, and help with physical frailty in people with advanced chronic kidney disease. About 30 adults aged 40-80 with kidney disease will take fisetin or a placebo for 14 days. The goal is to understand how the drug affects the body, not to provide a treatment.
