NCT ID NCT05176262

First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether removing four common foods (like dairy, wheat, eggs, and soy) from the diet can help children with eosinophilic esophagitis, a condition where the esophagus becomes inflamed. About 64 children aged 1 to 18 will follow this diet to see if their symptoms improve and inflammation decreases. The goal is to control the disease and identify which specific foods trigger symptoms.
