Poor posture in students linked to weaker neck muscles and breathing
NCT ID NCT07403422
First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study examined 80 healthy university students aged 18-26 to see if forward head posture is linked to problems with neck movement, muscle endurance, and heart-lung function during tasks that require thinking and moving. Researchers measured how accurately students could reposition their head, how long they could hold a neck exercise, and their heart and breathing responses. The goal was to better understand the effects of this common posture on overall health.
