Desperate Limb-Saving surgery tested on patients out of options
NCT ID NCT06277362
Summary
This study is testing a new procedure for patients with severe leg artery disease who have no other treatment options left and face amputation. Doctors will try to save the limb by surgically redirecting blood flow from an artery into the deep veins of the foot. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at preventing major amputations and death over two years.
