First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether specific foot muscle exercises could help prevent foot wounds in people with type 2 diabetes. 37 adults were randomly assigned to exercise groups or a control group. Researchers measured foot pressure, posture, and health before and after a 12-week program. The goal was to see if these exercises improve how pressure is distributed on the feet, which could reduce wound risk.
