Can free groceries help people lose weight?
NCT ID NCT05635019
Summary
This study tested if adding food support to a standard weight-loss program helps people who have obesity and struggle to afford healthy food. Researchers compared giving people food vouchers or delivering groceries to their home against the standard program alone. They measured weight loss and quality of life over 24 weeks in 105 adults.
