First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a new online food questionnaire can accurately measure what people eat, including FODMAPs (certain carbs that can cause digestive issues). Researchers will compare the questionnaire to a standard 4-day food diary in 400 adults (ages 18-65) with and without Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Participants also answer questions about physical activity and IBS symptoms. The goal is to improve how diet is assessed in IBS research and care.
