Could lack of healthy food at home worsen Kids' liver disease?

NCT ID NCT07090083

Summary

This study aims to understand how not having reliable access to healthy food at home affects the severity of a common liver disease in children and teens. Researchers will look at 160 young patients in California who already have this liver condition. They will check if kids from families struggling to afford healthy foods have worse liver test results and if their diet (like eating fewer fruits and vegetables) is the main reason.
