Scientists test if a big meal changes how your body absorbs a pain drug
NCT ID NCT07487740
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand if eating a high-fat, high-calorie meal changes how the body absorbs a long-acting version of the pain medication nalbuphine. It will involve 60 healthy volunteers who will take the drug once with food and once without, in a random order. The main goal is to measure the drug levels in the blood under both conditions to guide future dosing instructions.
