First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether group medical appointments with food deliveries help people manage their weight better than online programs. 43 adults with obesity were randomly assigned to either attend 8 weeks of group visits with cooking classes or complete online nutrition modules, with both groups receiving medically tailored grocery deliveries. Researchers measured how acceptable and appropriate participants found these approaches, along with changes in fruit/vegetable consumption and nutrition security.
