First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether shared medical appointments (group visits) are helpful for people trying to manage their weight. 43 adults from Duke's weight management center were randomly assigned to either group visits with cooking classes or online learning modules. The main goal was to see if participants found these approaches acceptable and appropriate, not to directly measure weight loss.
