Summary
This study tested whether providing medically tailored meals and nutrition support for six months can improve blood sugar levels and reduce food insecurity in adults with type 2 diabetes. 281 participants received either the food support program or usual care. The goal was to see if addressing food insecurity can help manage diabetes long-term.
