Can a frozen peanut tell if You're allergic? doctors investigate

NCT ID NCT06872996

Summary

This study aims to see if food allergy skin tests give the same results when using fresh food versus food that has been frozen or stored for a while. Researchers will test 100 adults with diagnosed food allergies by performing skin prick tests with both fresh and stored samples of the foods they are allergic to. The goal is to help doctors understand if stored food samples can be reliably used for allergy testing in clinics.
