Can free groceries help people lose weight?
NCT ID NCT05635019
Summary
This study tested whether adding food support to a standard weight-loss program helps people lose more weight. It involved 105 adults with obesity who also experience food insecurity. For 24 weeks, some participants received the weight-loss program alone, while others also got food vouchers or had healthy groceries delivered to their homes.
