Free groceries vs. vouchers: which helps people lose weight?
NCT ID NCT07396805
Summary
This study is testing whether providing easier access to healthy foods helps people with obesity and food insecurity lose weight. 300 adults will receive weight loss counseling and be randomly assigned to also get either free home-delivered groceries, grocery store vouchers, or no extra food support. Researchers will compare weight loss and quality of life over one year to see which approach works best.
