First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at how the body breaks down certain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) in the gut and whether that affects graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) after a bone marrow transplant. Researchers will follow 100 transplant patients to track when and how severe GVHD occurs. The goal is to better understand the link between gut bacteria and transplant outcomes.
