Sound waves target Parkinson's: Non-Invasive brain procedure tested
NCT ID NCT06584383
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive ultrasound procedure can help control movement symptoms in people with early-stage Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare the focused ultrasound treatment, which targets a specific brain area, against standard medication management. The goal is to see if this one-time procedure can provide lasting symptom control with fewer medications.
