One-Shot radiation: a new hope for prostate cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT06111313

Summary

This study is testing a new, focused approach to treating prostate cancer. For early-stage patients, doctors will deliver one high-dose radiation session directly to the tumor, not the whole prostate, aiming to cure the cancer. The trial will also see if adding a very short course of hormone therapy improves results while keeping side effects low. The study is recruiting 130 men with prostate cancer that hasn't spread.
