Summary

This study tested a way to make a lung exam (bronchoscopy) safer and more comfortable for people with severe breathing failure. Doctors used a breathing mask and special sedation to keep oxygen levels stable during the procedure. The goal was to see if this approach works better than standard care for 46 participants.
