Poop pills tested for Hard-to-Treat depression

Summary
This study is testing whether a fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) can help people with major depression who don't get better enough after starting a standard antidepressant. About 214 participants will take either FMT capsules or placebo pills for four weeks while continuing their medication. Researchers will track changes in depression, anxiety, sleep, and gut health over a 24-week period to see if the treatment is safe and effective.
