New pain relief combo for brain surgery patients shows promise

Summary
This study looks at whether adding flurbiprofen axetil to a standard numbing medicine (ropivacaine) can better control pain after brain surgery. About 216 adults having planned brain surgery will receive the combination or standard care. The goal is to see if patients need less additional pain medicine in the first 48 hours after surgery.
