First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests a fluorescent clip that glows under special light to help surgeons locate colon tumors during minimally invasive surgery. About 110 adults with colon cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either the clip or a standard dye injection before surgery. The goal is to see if the clip is as safe and effective as the dye for marking tumor locations.
