First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a new surgery that uses a fluorescent dye to find and remove only the cancer-affected lymph nodes in people with early stomach cancer. The goal is to remove the tumor while keeping as much of the stomach working as possible, improving quality of life. About 312 adults aged 18-80 who are candidates for stomach cancer surgery will take part. The study will compare this new approach to standard surgery to see if it is just as safe and effective at preventing cancer from coming back.
