Liver surgery fluid puzzle: less vs. more during operation
NCT ID NCT07440121
Summary
This study aims to find the best approach to giving fluids during liver removal surgery. It will compare a restrictive fluid plan, which surgeons often prefer to reduce bleeding, with a more liberal fluid plan, which might better protect the kidneys and other organs. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer serious complications after surgery in 90 adult patients.
