First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to see if patients in shock need more fluids. Doctors will use a heart ultrasound measure called E' before and after giving fluids. The goal is to see if changes in E' can quickly tell if the patient responds to fluids, helping guide emergency treatment. About 187 adults with shock will take part.
