New sensor aims to Fine-Tune IV fluids in the operating room

NCT ID NCT03706430

Summary

This study tested a new measurement called RPVi to see if it could better predict when a patient under anesthesia needs extra IV fluids during surgery. It compared RPVi to two existing methods doctors already use. The goal was to gather data to see if this new approach could help guide fluid decisions more accurately.
