Summary
This study looked at whether giving fluids (colloids or crystalloids) before general anesthesia can prevent low blood pressure and reduce complications within 30 days after non-cardiac surgery. Over 2,000 adults having elective surgery took part. The goal was to see if this simple step could improve recovery.
