Doctors track ICU fluids to predict kidney failure

Summary
This study aims to understand if the amount of fluids given or lost in the first two days of an ICU stay is linked to the development of sudden kidney injury. Researchers will closely monitor 120 critically ill adults who do not have kidney injury when they arrive. The goal is to gather information that could help guide better fluid management to protect patients' kidneys in the future.
