Summary

This study looked at whether injecting the antifungal drug fluconazole directly into the cornea is safe and works for treating fungal keratitis, a serious eye infection. Forty people with lab-confirmed fungal keratitis that was sensitive to fluconazole took part. The main goal was to see if vision improved and how quickly the infection healed.
