Scientists probe why flu shots work differently as we age

NCT ID NCT04101838

Summary

This study aims to understand how different types of FDA-approved seasonal flu vaccines affect the body's immune response, specifically the antibodies and cells that fight the flu. Researchers will compare these responses in two groups: healthy adults aged 18-50 and adults aged 65-80. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help scientists design better, longer-lasting flu vaccines in the future.
