First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding special ingredients called adjuvants to two standard flu vaccines (Fluzone and Flublok) could improve the body's immune response. About 240 healthy adults aged 18-45 received either a vaccine alone or a vaccine with an adjuvant. Researchers checked for side effects and measured antibody levels in the blood to see if the adjuvanted vaccines were safe and more effective.
