Oxford launches massive Head-to-Head flu drug showdown
NCT ID NCT05648448
Summary
This University of Oxford trial aims to directly compare how well seven different antiviral drugs work against the flu. It will enroll 3,000 adults who have just started showing flu symptoms to see which medication clears the virus from their system the fastest. The study will test common drugs like Tamiflu against newer options, including some not yet approved for flu, to help doctors and health systems choose the best treatments.
