First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tested a new mRNA vaccine that combines protection against seasonal flu and COVID-19 in a single shot. It involved 106 healthy adults aged 18-64 to check for side effects and immune response. The flu and COVID-19 parts had been tested separately before, and this was the first time they were combined in people. The goal is to see if one vaccine can safely protect against both viruses.
