First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether changes in the FLNA gene are linked to emphysema, a lung condition that causes breathing problems. Researchers will examine 70 people with FLNA mutations using lung tests, heart ultrasound, and chest scans. The goal is to find out how common emphysema is in this group and describe its features, but this study does not test any treatment.
