Summary
This study aimed to find out how often people with a specific FLNA gene mutation develop emphysema, a serious lung condition. Eight participants with the mutation underwent lung scans and breathing tests. The goal was to gather evidence to confirm if this genetic mutation is linked to unexplained cases of emphysema.
