Bendy tool may make lung cancer surgery quicker and safer
NCT ID NCT07201077
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new bendable surgical tool (SurgeoFlex Grasp) against a standard rigid tool in 100 adults with early-stage lung cancer undergoing keyhole surgery. The goal was to see if the flexible tool makes lymph node removal faster, reduces instrument clashes, and eases surgeon workload. Results could lead to shorter operations, smaller scars, and less pain for future patients.
