What's in your urine? study tracks Diet's hidden health compounds
NCT ID NCT06086145
Summary
This study aims to better understand how much of certain healthy plant compounds, called flavanols, people are eating in their normal diets. Researchers will collect urine samples from 200 healthy adults to measure specific markers that show flavanol intake from foods like apples, berries, and tea. The goal is to create a more accurate picture of dietary habits to help inform future nutrition recommendations.
