Can a fish oil pill during pregnancy stop your Child's asthma?

NCT ID NCT06560255

Summary

This study is testing if taking a high dose of fish oil during pregnancy can prevent asthma and wheezing in young children. It will enroll 2,000 pregnant women with low omega-3 levels and give them either fish oil or a placebo pill from mid-pregnancy until after birth. Researchers will then track the children's health for up to 6 years to see if the supplement reduces asthma, allergies, infections, and other conditions.
