Summary

This large Australian study is testing whether offering a finger-stick point-of-care test for hepatitis C can increase diagnosis and treatment rates. Adults at risk for hepatitis C will be offered the rapid test at services they already use. Those who test positive for the virus will be referred for standard care, and their records will be checked 12 weeks later to see if they started treatment.
