Finger clip could help doctors give safer fluids to High-Risk moms

NCT ID NCT07430254

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, non-invasive finger monitor can help doctors decide which pregnant women need extra fluids. It will compare the finger device's readings to a standard heart ultrasound in 88 women, including those with a serious condition called preeclampsia. The goal is to see if this easier method can accurately predict who will benefit from receiving fluids.
