First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether the drug finerenone can lower protein in the urine (a sign of kidney damage) better than a placebo in 180 adults with chronic kidney disease who are not taking certain blood pressure medicines. Participants will take finerenone or a dummy pill for 6 months. The goal is to see if finerenone can help control the disease and reduce the risk of kidney failure.
