New program aims to ease financial burden for gynecologic cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a one-time, 30-minute educational session with a trained educator to help gynecologic cancer patients and their caregivers manage the costs of care. The goal is to see if the program is practical and can boost confidence in handling financial issues while reducing money-related stress. About 36 patient-caregiver pairs will take part.
