NCT ID NCT06362798

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving weekly cash payments to low-income mothers of preterm infants helps them spend more time in the NICU doing skin-to-skin care and breastfeeding. About 420 mothers will be randomly assigned to receive either usual care or usual care plus financial transfers. The goal is to see if reducing financial stress improves both mother and baby health outcomes.
