First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how the body processes natural compounds in dried figs (polyphenols) and whether they help insulin work better to control blood sugar after meals. Five pre-diabetic adults will have their blood sugar and insulin levels measured with and without figs. The goal is to see if figs could be a helpful food for people with pre-diabetes.
