Fatty liver study pulled before it began: new imaging test never tested

This pilot study was designed to see if a special MRI technique called field-cycling imaging could tell the difference between simple fatty liver and more serious liver scarring (fibrosis) in adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The goal was to find a non-invasive way to track disease progression without a biopsy. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
