Scientists hunt for brain proof that internet therapy eases fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT07054333
Summary
This study aims to find objective, physical evidence in the brain that explains how an internet-based therapy helps people with fibromyalgia. Researchers will measure pain sensitivity and processing in 50 participants before and after they complete a 10-week online cognitive behavioral therapy program. The goal is to understand the biological mechanism behind the therapy's benefits, which could lead to more effective treatments.
