Scientists probe link between fibromyalgia pain and 'Brain Fog'

NCT ID NCT06948903

Summary

This study aims to understand how increased pain sensitivity in the nervous system (central sensitization) relates to memory and thinking problems (cognitive dysfunction) in people with fibromyalgia. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with fibromyalgia to measure their pain sensitivity, thinking skills, and other symptoms. The goal is to gather knowledge to better understand the condition, not to test a new treatment.
