Could a spoonful of fiber ease your aching knees?

NCT ID NCT07189585

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily fiber supplement called inulin can reduce knee pain and inflammation in older adults with osteoarthritis. For 8 weeks, 84 participants will take either inulin or a placebo powder to see if it improves gut health and lowers a blood marker linked to joint inflammation. The goal is to see if this simple dietary change can help manage osteoarthritis symptoms.
